Notability[edit]

This article may not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline, a note has been left on the talk page to avoid a edit war. Please provide more coverage using independent sources, a ship that is simply one purchased for an activity by SpaceX is not automatically notable. It is a small ship and essentially seems to be a tug boat. If this is not replied to and the article fixed, I will readd the tags in one week. PainProf (talk) 03:04, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PainProf (talk · contribs), this really doesn't seem notable still. Other little boat articles are suspect such as GO Searcher. But I won't nominate it for deletion right now as that might be viewed as retaliatory given that Hatchens (talk · contribs) and I are in a bit of a dispute. ImperfectlyInformed, do not worry. I will not defend this page or my action. Please put the AfD and UPE notice. And, I assure you, nobody will blame you for retaliating against me. I will stand with you. Gentleman's promise. Hatchens (talk) 13:48, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is definitely not UPE though- unless you are saying someone paid you to write this? I do not understand why would you ask UPE to be added.... I'm not convinced of the notability of individual ships still, but until we find the name of the class to merge to I wouldn't suggest deletion, although in my mind there is no doubt that this is just a non-notable ship of a notable class of ship. Per this discussion it seems the notability remains in doubt so the tags are justified though. @Hatchens: it would be a sign of good faith for you to add the notability tag. Italics in ship name[edit]

Why isn't the entire ship name italicized, i.e. GO Navigator and GO Searcher? "GO" is not a prefix; it is the initials of the owner's name, Guice Offshore, and thus part of the name. This would be analagous to Celebrity Equinox. JustinTime55 (talk) 15:08, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
