LCCs and regional small businesses will start using the Airport in the near future (apparently within one year)[edit]

As far as I know, LCCs (Peach, Vanilla, etc.) want Shimoji Airport as a new destination. It is well equipped for multiple approach procedures (a leftover from the training times), not much has to be done. Also the Irabu Bridge offers a connection to Miyako. And the Miyako Airport is congested and does not allow new slots. In addition multiple projects to settle small businesses on and around the airport have been kicked off, recently. --60.43.39.240 (talk) 05:59, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
