I feel the article lacking in content. It hardly talks anything about Shiv Kumar's personal life. It seeks to push under the carpet his love life and how it reflected in his poems. The aspects of his drinking and theme of sadness and loss of love have not been fully and openly dealt with..

Death of Shiv Kumar has not been delved into enough. Nothing has been said about how a young man of just 36 years, a celebrity poet, died at the peak of his career?

There is a lack of writing skills too. The article, while calling it a myth, the popular opinion that Shiv Kumar drank excessively, says He was a kind heartded man. Being kind hearted does not mean a person cannot consume excessive alcohol. It seems that the author is excessively concerned about Shiv's image as a drinker and wants to change that public opinion.

Death of Shiv Kumar Batalvi[edit]

The death section first states that he died in the PGIMER Hospital, Chandigarh but then in the very next sentence he's stated to have not died in the hospital but in a village. Where did he really die? •nix• 04:39, 4 September 2017 (UTC)
