External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Sholapith. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

What part of the plant, exactly?[edit]

The first major paragraph says "The useful part of this plant is the bark of the wood (secondary-xylem) of the stem. This wood is often mistaken as the pith" which seems to say that the bark is the used part of the plant. Then it says "The sholapith is the cortex or core of the plant and is about 1.5 inch across" which makes is sound as if the core of the plant is 1.5 inches and is the used part of the plant, which contradicts the first sentence. Then the caption says "The central, dark hollow tube contained the pith which disappeared with the ageing of the plant" which seems to say that the central core of the plant is small, which seems to contradict the second sentence.

Can anyone provide some clarity about what part of the plat is actually used, and clean up those sentences? Thanks! Chconnor (talk) 07:04, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know but I just wanted to confirm that I was similarly puzzled. Ccrrccrr (talk) 11:58, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Number punctuation question[edit]

Is the punctuation for 1,10,000-1,20,000 correct? I don't think I'm familiar with the pattern. Fanccr (talk) 00:35, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
