Please read before editing or revising[edit]

Hi. I made some changes to this page today because I work for the magazine and a great deal of the information was either out of date or grossly inaccurate. There was also a lot of useful information lacking. I have avoided all subjective language and opinion, dealing only in fact. There is nothing promotional in the content. I tried to call myself 'shortlist' to make my connection clear, but that wasn't allowed. I've never done this before and I really didn't think it would be so hard to correct inaccuracies. I've looked around and I can guarantee that every other magazine on here is self-editing at some point. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, as long as we remain neutral and deal in facts. I would really appreciate it if you didn't undo all my work and therefore make wikipedia just that little less accurate. If you have issue with anything I've added, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for disclosing your conflict of interest. Please refrain from editing the article directly, since you have such a conflict. You can suggest changes on the talk page and have a non-conflicted editor make them if there is consensus. For now I have gone ahead and attempted to update the article appropriately and following Wikipedia guidelines. Please make suggestions for additional changes on this talk page so other editors can evaluate them and consider adding them as appropriate. Thank you for replying. (I love Vancouver, by the way). Sorry, I just made a couple of minor edits before I saw this. I did leave a note to explain why on each one. I hope you understand my reasons for asking for these changes. We occasionally deal indirectly with international clients (actors' publicists and the like) and, as people are so reliant on Wikipedia for research, inaccurate or incomplete information can be very damaging to our business.

I would like to suggest some further edits/additions, please. First of all, the business model (method of distribution) is extremely notable and has been written about extensively, to the point that it became the subject of an episode on the latest series of The Apprentice (one of the UK's leading TV shows). This is the suggested text:

Method of Distribution[edit]

The magazine is handed out every Thursday in London, Brighton, Edinburgh, Glasgow Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Dundee and Aberdeen. It is distributed by hand at main line and Underground stations, and can be also be picked up in all London and the larger regional UK airports, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic airport lounges, NCP car parks, on Eurostar and Virgin Trains, French Connection stores and various health clubs.^[1] It is also available via subscription^[2].

I also believe that the paragraph on Danny Wallace's column is relevant. Wallace is a very successful author in the UK and the column has been turned into two books (and a pilot for a US TV series). Suggested text:

Writer and broadcaster Danny Walllace has a regular weekly colum in ShortList called Danny Wallace is a Man, which has been turned into two books: Awkward Situations for Men and More Awkward Situations for Men, the first of which as been made into a pilot for US television^[1].

Likewise, the Apprentice episode is also notable. Suggested text:
