Lead
  • "consists of instrumentation from"..... reads awkwardly
  • "with one reviewer"..... David Nick Ybarra
Background and composition
  • Too much detail on Holiday (Madonna song) and Madonna (Madonna album). Keep it simple by saying they met and started dating in 1983, and mentioning that he had worked with her on the Madonna album.
  • Madonna album should be linked in the first paragraph, not the second
Release and reception
  • It would be better to simply say "Maura Johnston of Rolling Stone", and remove the comma after "71"
  • "Wheeler, one of the backing vocalist confirmed"..... should be plural form vocalists, and add a comma before "confirmed"
  • No need to mention what the Alvin and the Chipmunks episode title was referencing
Chart performance
  • "It's final appearance" → "Its final appearance" (typo)
    • Addressed all of them above, so noting in one line here. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 11:12, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
References
  • FN5: "Jellybean > Biography" should just read "Jellybean"
  • FN9: Unlink Jellybean and EMI Records
  • Billboard (magazine) only needs to be linked in FN12. Also, the Billboard links seem to say in their "about this magazine" sections that Nielsen Business Media published those editions, so where did "News and Media" come from? I also see most of these footnotes have Prometheus Global Media used in "publisher" field.
    • This I will clarify in detail. If you see the Billboard links, post 2010 and the website upgradation have the publisher as Prometheus Global Media, while those post 1991 have Nielsen Business Media. Now when Google archived and digitized the magazines, which I think started in 2004, the publisher was still Nielsen, hence old magazines are also digitized with that name. But it was News & Media which owned Billboard during 1985, and hence the FN 19 reflects that. Now coming to FN 23, 36 and 37, I cannot help with that since the references have been generated using the {{single chart}} template and it automatically links to the Wiki name. :( —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 11:12, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • FN28: "Dutchcharts.nl" in "Dutchcharts.nl – Jellybean – Sidewalk Talk" should read "Dutch Charts"
  • FN29: "Charts.org.nz" in "Charts.org.nz – Jellybean – Sidewalk Talk" should read "New Zealand Charts"
    • See about single chart template.
  • FN's 30–36: Same as FN9
GA Result
  • On hold for seven days
    • @SNUGGUMS: addressed all and clarified the one not addressed. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 11:12, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
      • The one thing I'm not sure of, IndianBio, is why some Billboard refs from the 1980s use Prometheus when it was News and Media. Snuggums (talk / edits) 12:54, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
        • SNUGGUMS, even though the chart links say 1985, however, we should use when the chart was published. The url is from the new Billboard site, revamped in 2013 as you must know hence I used Prometheus. What do you say? Should we revert it to News and Media? —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 14:17, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
