Retcon[edit]

As of World War Hulk 1, it looks like everything that happened in this series has been completely ignored. 24.218.218.9 03:03, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not true. World War Hulk #4 specifically mentions Silent War. 24.208.200.151 23:18, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The timing of this series seems to hop quite suddenly. Issue 1 is set when the FF are still as one unit, placing it before CW. Issue 4 has the Mighty Avenngers being defeated by Black Bolt, which places it after CW. Yet the incongruincy exists, that Civil War New Avengers #24 states that Sentry cannot approach the Mists, which suggests the Mists have been returned to the moon, so that Silent War # 4 must be during the CW, when the Mists were reclaimed. Issue 6 must be after WWH, because Attilan is still in tact at WWH #1. It would be better to ignore the Mighty Avengers appearance, and hold the Silent War before CW, and that Sentry had been at the Issue #4 battle, yet, in CW NA #24, he seems to give no reference to the encounter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.108.58.136 (talk) 10:56, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The series remains canon, they've simply haven't followed through as well as they should have. Secret Invasion: Inhumans and War of Kings continue directly from the mini, however, they've sort of ignored the whole Maximus becoming king (and being evil for that matter).24.190.34.219 (talk) 20:20, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
