If Paulie is Tony's Underboss why did Sil take charge as consigliere when Tony entered a coma in Season 6? Since according to things here at wikipedia, the underboss should take over, consigliere is third in rank. 67.5.157.158 02:51, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. Either, this is a genuine factual error, or there was some sort of an agreement during Tony's coma. Perhaps Silvio and Paulie agreed that Sil would take the responsibility. This topic could even have been discussed before Tony's coma between Tony and other people. Tony has stated numerous times throughout the series that Silvio is much more trust-worthy than Paulie. Perhaps this was Tony's wishes and everybody respected that. Why would this happen? We can always assume that the third rank got the responsibilities over second ranking in order to not jeopardize anybody's actual ranking. Geeky Randy 06:10, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Silviodante.jpg[edit]

Image:Silviodante.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Does Silvio own the Bada Bing or manage it?[edit]

I recall in the season four episode entitled Christopher, while driving together, Tony mentions that Silvio actually owns the Bing. If this is the case then the article on Silvio is in error as it states he manages the Bing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.188.14.169 (talk) 08:19, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pronoun trouble[edit]

Silvio's support was instrumental in ensuring Tony took over as capo following his father's death.

I assume this is referring to Tony's father, rather than Silvio's father. I am going to edit to reflect that. KConWiki (talk) 02:14, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Silvio was born in November 1960...[edit]

his father was Joseph "Beppo" Dante (Calabrian origin), a soldier who was "gunned down" in 1959. lol wut — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.91.142.40 (talk) 16:29, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
