Banneret[edit]

The article states that Fraser was a knight banneret. This fact was added by user:Canaen in November 2006. Is there a reliable source to substantiate this fact? -- PBS (talk) 16:04, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Problems[edit]

If he was captured at Dunbar in 1296, and only rejoined the Scots around 1300, it's difficult to see how he could have fought with Moray and Wallace. Also, are we sure about the reference to his brother James Fraser? There was another Simon Fraser, possibly his son, who was killed at the Battle of Halidon Hill along with his brother James Fraser. • @PatGallacher: I have updated article, removing questionable statement regarding Moray and tweaked a little. I will check resources as to James. Regards Newm30 (talk) 06:50, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • I have removed reference to alleged brother James Fraser. The Fraser's killed at the Battle of Halidon Hill appear to be the sons of Andrew Fraser of Touch-Fraser. Newm30 (talk) 08:00, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
