Results Placement Notice (for editors)[edit]

Yes, we are aware that this season's Singer had a new twist in terms of challengers and contestants, but in order to improve clarity for editors, here are some important notes:

The results for the Pre-Challenge face-off is SEPARATE from the Knockouts, and we know that the results are announced later during Challenge round. WInners will be given the Challenger status, and losers is eliminated.
The loser of the pre-challenge face-off is not eligible to participate in the breakout but still allowed to participate in the Return performance.
As like previous series, Either a challenger needs to beat a majority (4th place or better) to be considered "Challenge Success"; "Challenge Failure" means automatic elimination.
