although it is composed by songs recorded in early '50 and released before as singles, it is not a compilation album, just many '50/'60 blues albums were like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.98.155.46 (talk) 14:24, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Five & Ten Long Years[edit]

"Eddie Boyd recorded a similar "Five Long Years" in 1952"

The two songs really don't have much in common except the genre and the similar titles. And Chapman should be Chatman. Jules TH 16 (talk) 10:17, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Five Long Years" by Eddie Boyd (covered by Buddy Guy) and "Ten Long Years" by BB King are two different songs. I withdraw the contentious passage. Patrub01 (talk) 21:34, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And "Every Day I Have the Blues" was popularized by Memphis Slim (a.k.a. Peter Chatman, not Chapman) in 1949. I correct. Patrub01 (talk) 21:55, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
