Ethnicity[edit]

The population is almost entirely Shia Baharna - (Shitte) in ethnicity.

governorate[edit]

the article states that sitra is located in the "central governorate", which happens to not exist anymore (note the "was" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Governorate,_Bahrain). which would be the current governorate then? Sacdegemecs

@Sacdegemecs, Most of it is now in the Capital Governorate, but parts of it are in the Southern Governorate. Source [1] (Arabic). Mohamed CJ (talk) 19:50, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Mohamed CJ, thanks Mohamed, and could you tell me where the port of sitra lies exactly? within the capital governorate or within the southern governorate? Sacdegemecs
