Sixteen (Chicago restaurant) GA Review[edit]

Hi. I'm going to be the reviewer for this article. --Edge3 (talk) 19:17, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Sixteen is the restaurant at the Trump International Hotel and Tower, Chicago, which is located on the sixteenth floor of the hotel in the Near North Side community area of Chicago, Illinois." Can you reword this in some way? Trump Tower is not on the sixteenth floor of itself. :) --Edge3 (talk) 19:30, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • The "Details" section needs to be split into separate sections. A section named "Details" is obviously going to have details about the restaurant, but what kind? Perhaps you can create a "Layout" or "Facilities" section for architectural details, and you can create another section on "Reception" to discuss critics' reviews. You can also create a "History" section to discuss the restaurant's planning and management.
  • As an extension to the above point, is there any information about the restaurant's history? How did it get started? How long did it take to build?
  • More info needed: How popular is this restaurant? How many people eat there in a given period?
    • Restaurants can be fickle. You could be the it place one month and six months later be second fiddle. I am not sure how encyclopedic that type of information is and I don't know how to obtain it.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 22:55, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • Ok, don't worry about it. --Edge3 (talk) 00:10, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • I don't think the "Related venues" section is appropriate. That section should be moved to the Trump Tower article, and this article should only mention the two restaurants briefly.--Edge3 (talk) 19:30, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Even Zagat mentions the two related venues. The Trump Tower reviewers have asked that most restaurant info be excised from that article.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 21:41, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • Why don't they each have their separate articles then?--Edge3 (talk) 00:10, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • What kind of food do they serve?
  • "The restaurant has been described as pricey..." - replace "pricey" with "expensive" or another synonym
  • "Some consider it more of a place to impress clients and dates..." To whom does "some" refer?--Edge3 (talk) 19:55, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Kamin remarks that although many..." - Define many. --Edge3 (talk) 00:18, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pass. Good job! --Edge3 (talk) 01:06, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is not clear to me how and to whom to direct a comment such as this, but of the three external links at the bottom of this article, ZERO of them are current and valid. Wisconsinator (talk) 15:47, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
