An advanced culture[edit]

What is this incessant “indicating an advanced culture” that one sees in the text of the article? This could be said of any of the artifacts. Blindly repeating that shielding one’s eyes from the moribund “indicates an advanced culture” is nonsensical. Plus, we repeatedly refer to 'primitive' drawings of skywhales. So, which is it, advanced or primitive?
