Reference problems[edit]

The statement "Recognized for innovative ideas in cultural, residential and commercial genres, the firm's work has been published and exhibited worldwide. is not supported by the cited reference http://www.retaildesigninstitute.org/files/d6b4fbd7ef272e80634a11885bd64f63_2039680225.pdf and I have therefore commented out the reference. The statement is promotional unless it is an attributed quote in any case. DES ^(talk) 17:26, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- More accurately the ref shows that the firm won an award which other refs show is for work in Shanghai, but does not say anything about "cultural, residential and commercial genres". The statement "The firm's work has been published in Architectural Record Metropolis Magazine Metropolis Magazine and Interior Design Magazine." is not supported by http://www.metropolismag.com/cda/magazine.php?issue_date=2005-03-01 -- indeed Slade is not mentioned in any of the pages currently linked from that page. The Progressive Architecture Award 2003 Citation, Dalki Theme Park and Shop" was according to http://www.decodir.com/2009/10/dalki-theme-park-and-shop-in-korea-by-slade-architecture/ given to Cho Slade Architecture, a different firm in which James Slade was a partner before the founding of the Slade Architecture discussed in this article. it should not be listed as an award of this firm -- indeed it is already mentioned in the section on James Slade.
