@Dohn joe and In ictu oculi: "Slight" as a noun means "insult", and insults have been causing serious trouble for centuries before this novel was written. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:04, 10 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per In ictu oculi. —Bruce1eetalk 05:06, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Strong oppose per Anthony Appleyard and IIO. Wikipedia is not just an entertainment database -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 08:48, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Support. Wikipedia is WP:NOTADICTIONARY. There is no other topic on WP called "Slights". And Slight itself is just a short disambiguation page. Why make Slights a redirect to a dab page when we have an actual article with content at that title? Also - since this article was recently moved without discussion, a no consensus result here means a revert to the previous status quo. Dohn joe (talk) 16:05, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hang on, if WP:NOTADICTIONARY (which you are misreading) really means that all common words without a standalone title must redirect to entertainment products, then what of Slight, shouldn't that redirect to *"Slight", song from Circle (Boom Bip and Doseone album) 2002, rather than being a dab page, with ref to insult. What about hurricane why not move hurricane (album) to hurricane, since we have no article called hurricane. What's the difference? In ictu oculi (talk) 18:02, 11 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
There is no need to support your own proposal. Tiggerjay (talk) 23:50, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose as per above. Tiggerjay (talk) 23:50, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
