Big Tent[edit]

Hi, I made a major change on January 7 at 9:51 p.m. I changed the ideology to catch-all. This is evidenced by many credible sources. I can say that I am from Slovakia and I am very interested in politics. OĽaNO is not a conservative party. They have 10 liberal and 20 liberal-conservative and the remaining 23 conservative / Christian right-wing deputies. Their campaign does not talk about social values but is very emotional, populist and anti-corruption. Their party has a very diverse range of members. It therefore meets all the catch-all conditions. If you want to bring the ideology back, please justify it and I will be happy to discuss it with you and defend my opinion. Well thank you. --Igec133 (talk) 22:13, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Igec133: Hi, thank you for commenting on this. I would tend to agree that OĽaNO is a big-tent/catch-all party, as that is generally supported by sources. However, I would argue that OĽaNO is both catch-all and conservative—the ideologies you list their deputies as belonging to all generally lie on the conservative side of the spectrum, and this characterization of the party is supported by the sources. I'll add "conservatism" back for now, since it's generally better to establish a consensus to remove an ideology like "conservatism" before changing it (please see WP:BRD for a better explanation). Hopefully, more editors will comment on this. Thanks, Ezhao02 (talk) 02:23, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The new name "SLOVENSKO"[edit]

Hi everyone, I'd like to ask everyone here, how we could change the name of the page, since the name of the party changed relatively recently from "OĽaNO etc." to "SLOVENSKO" (lit. Slovakia). I am quite new to this Wikipedia editing ordeal and I was wondering, whether it'd be possible to create a redirect to this page (renamed to "SLOVENSKO (political party)", for example); from any searches similar to the current (English) name of the party. Of course this would also come with a note about the party's name change. Slovakmate (talk) 21:26, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
