Can anyone explain the meaning of this lyric? I have the feeling many people understand it without explanation, but it’s opaque to me. The title does seem to be a euphemism for WTF, which expresses amazement, confusion, disbelief, etc. If it’s “shame on everybody” for one reason or another, what’s the point of that? Is it like “everybody’s flawed, so let’s relax and enjoy life”? Or “I don’t know what to do about the human condition, so I give up”?
