Choreographers[edit]

Somebody please do an article on the outstanding choreographer Mia Michaels (and your favorites, as well) ! Dvori 00:37, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stub article created: Mia Michaels. Feel free to add to it. :) --Elonka 07:32, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Instead of having individual articles for each contestant, I recommend that there be a one-paragraph bio on each contestant on this "Season" page, and then a link to a separate biography page only when the contestant is independently notable (see WP:BIO for the guidelines). For example, Benji Schwimmer, Heidi Groskreutz, and Dmitry Chaplin are all verifiably notable, as they have won multiple awards in other venues. And whoever wins the SYTYCD competition will be notable, by having won the competition.  :) But for those contestants who were eliminated early and really don't have any other credits to their name, I think that one paragraph is probably sufficient. What do others think? --Elonka 04:21, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion[edit]

There are currently discussions on whether or not to delete the articles for Musa Cooper and Ivan Koumaev. Please see the articles for instructions on how to participate in the discussion, and cast a vote to keep or delete. --Elonka 08:58, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely merge.[edit]

Merge. This "article" is about 4 lines long and says nothing of terrible importance. The chart shows when she was eliminated, and it doesn't at all matter why or what some TV dance "judge" said at the time, or who her best friend is/was.

Almost all of these articles should be on one page, then we can debate whether that entire page should be eliminated.  ;) --4.231.170.228 04:54, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Semicolons[edit]

Why the edit war about semicolons? It seems to me that they were being used properly, to separate elements that had their own embedded commas: "Los Angeles, California; New York, New York; etc.". See Semicolon#Language usage. --Elonka 16:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, you're correct. While I wouldn't quite term it an "edit war", it does show the importance of using edit summaries. Good job, Elonka. Aren't I Obscure? 17:23, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, and I apologize if my language appeared too strong. Perhaps "minor skirmish" would have been more appropriate?  ;) --Elonka 21:46, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Songs on SYTYCD[edit]

I think there should be a section of songs featured on SYTYCD, including those before the final twenty contestants. I know most of them, but I'm still looking for one from the early part of the series, danced to during the hip-hop lesson. The lyrics included "are you a nasty boy looking for a nasty girl? You wanna roll in my own little nasty world?". Something like that.
