removed the link for "Price Chopper"

I put the history section into point form and seperated the information about "Ready to Serve" into a new category. As it is a rather big change in the operation of the stores, I feel that it deserves its own section. I also added a few more of their banners. --BoyoJonesJr 6 July 2005 23:12 (UTC)

Did a bit of cleanup, such as "Coming March 2005..." where time has passed, it's now reflected as history, not future. Moved the reference to the gas bars. The first chunk talks about the Compliments brand and suddenly jumps. In fact, the Company section needs a rewrite, where you break off the private label story into it's own section as "Compliments Brand" or something. --Roby0215 02:01, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Sobeys website reference

I don't see why the section.. "According to their own website, they do not currently have any stores in British Columbia. This information is displayed on the splashscreen of sobey.ca. If you have been to that site before, you will have to delete your cookies first to view the splashscreen." is necessary. Especially the part about the cookies. why is this relevant to the article?? I think its enough to say that they have 1300 stores in 9 provinces. Is it that important that people know how to view the splash?? My suggestion is to drop the cookies sentence and write something along the lines of "British Columbia is currently the only province without a Sobeys branded location"--BoyoJonesJr 14:02, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Logo and Compliments Balance

The logo actually was edited, although the change was minimal. I remember is being mentioned at the employee conference I attended in 2002 covering the changes that "Ready to Serve" was to introduce. I managed to dig up a couple of references. The last s was also changed to match. My line on Compliments Balance was referenced from Sobeys' own website, but I've edited it make it a little more neutral. --Zippo 15:26, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Food City

Nova Scotia stores not listed?

Why aren't the Nova Scotia locations listed? There are Sobeys stores in Nova Scotia. Hell, one of them is in my town. 142.177.153.27 (talk) 19:11, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

The N.S. store list contains all the stores in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, but re-list Sydney, which is in the C.B.R.M. Also, some places are listed by city, while others are listed by Municipality. How should it be listed? Lungdart (talk) 03:58, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
