Rewrite, somewhat more narrow focus[edit]

I did a substantial rewrite of the article, as I found the previous version unfocused and a bit heavy on hype. Some of the content and references I removed might make sense to add to a future version of the article, but it was hard to see how most of it was directly relevant to social advertising, rather that social media and marketing more generally. To be clear, this is an area I've worked on, and I have included a citation to an article I coauthored (along with several other new citations to scholarly work).
