Sohna assembly segment is dominated by Ahirs, constituting about 33,000 of the 1,27,774 votes followed by the Gujjars around 24,000 in number. Thakurs around 12,000 with equal number of Jats and about 16,000 Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes.
