What is an "Earth Change"?[edit]

From the article

> This could have been one of the "Earth changes" about which people have been warned, and which could occur again, perhaps with a major loss of human life over much of Earth, which could be avoided by sheltering under thick layers of stone or soil.

The prior sentence has citations and is understandable. This one is confusing and has unsupported statements.

Might be worth removing?

Proposal to change this article to a redirect to Coronal mass ejection[edit]

See Talk:Coronal mass ejection#Proposal to change Solar particle event to a redirect to this article. Dudley Miles (talk) 19:26, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. "Solar particle event" basically refers to Coronal Mass Ejection. Geoffrey.landis (talk) 14:07, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: This is absolutely not true. See my remarks in Talk:Coronal mass ejection § Proposal to change Solar particle event to a redirect to this article. CoronalMassAffection (talk) 22:05, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
