Points per team table[edit]

Why is Israel listed in a regional youth soccer tournament? Were they invited? Can anyone else verify this table?

According to Official logo of competition. Competition name is as belows.

And, Only South American Youth Football Championship don't have U-20 age mark

Therefore, This title is more appropriate ㅡ South American U-20 Championship
Besides, By the same logic and consistent with other members

Also, There are derived articles. South American Under-15 Football Championship South American Under-17 Football Championship Footwiks (talk) 07:30, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • The only English cite in the article says "South American Youth Championships (Official name: Juventud de América)." What is the WP:COMMONNAME in English? Also, if you would like to make this a multimove request, please use the multimove template. Dekimasuよ! 07:57, 27 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No consensus. Don't see general agreement below to rename these pages. Research of move logs, category names, WikiProject Football archives and other similar articles reveals non-standardized titles, such as for example both "Under-15", "U-15", and sometimes neither even though the scope is less general than the page title would indicate (as in the 1st and 2nd proposals below). One problem seems to be the sparse reliable English-language secondary sources. Another might be the need for more participation of the two WikiProjects' members in these requested move discussions. While standardization is sorely needed in article and category titles, we must first decide the best way to standardize, and that may not be easy without good, reliable, non-primary sources to aid in the decision. Editors will have to get their heads together in a more centralized discussion location. As is usual with a no-consensus outcome, editors can strengthen their arguments and try again in a few months to garner consensus for these name changes; however, success would be much more likely if community consensus in a centralized discussion is first achieved. • Belows are official Competition names. Sources are in CONMEBOL website.

  • The only English cite in the article (as of last week) says "South American Youth Championships (Official name: Juventud de América)." What is the WP:COMMONNAME in English? We do not necessarily use WP:OFFICIAL titles. Dekimasuよ! 16:00, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose as proposed; no real evidence in English in a month now. Dekimasuよ! 04:44, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • In CONMEBOL website English version, Please check out Championship section, There are age mark: U-20, U-17, U-15 and Goal.com article expressed U20 South American championship Goal.com Article In conclusion, I don't think that Current Title - "South American Youth Football Championship" is both notable name and official name. Footwiks (talk) 05:20, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • The CONMEBOL site is not a reliable secondary source, but a primary source. The goal.com article you have linked uses "U20" and "U17" only within direct quotes from an interviewee, and "U15" only once outside of direct quotes. It doesn't use hyphens, either. Dekimasuよ! 08:37, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • For what it's worth, the CONMEBOL site actually uses "Men's U-17 Sudamericano", etc., in English. Dekimasuよ! 19:26, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
