The section on the manse states that the house on Hermitage Place (no 14) was the former manse, dating from 1805, and cites Gifford Buildings of Scotland: Edinburgh. But Gifford (p478 in the Penguin) mentions 14 West Hermitage Place, dates it to 1805, and has no mention of it being a manse. There is also East Hermitage Place, likewise no mention of a manse. I have checked this both in the 1984 Penguin edition and the 2003 Yale edition. I am removiing the citation and putting on a cn tag.
