Editorial comment[edit]

Excuse me? Was it necessary to include the above quote in an article meant to describe a school which was home to Lamar University? Who is this "some" people who saw it a punishment for the white community? Some people also saw it as an unneccesary demolition of a very historical building. Why the racist language in this article. I recommend it be removed entirely and replaced by a team of blacks and whites who graduated from South Park.
