Article clean up[edit]

I've posted a couple of templates on this article, that perhaps should have been placed earlier in order to expedite the cleanup before all the recent additions occurred, I apologise for that. After "Google sampling" the section titled "About Spacetoon", in my opinion whole paragraphs appear to be copied and pasted from several copyrighted websites, including the Spacetoon site itself. If this material was added to the encyclopedia instead, by someone who believes they have prior permission to copy and paste copyrighted material from the Spacetoon website by virtue of being employed by this corporation, they should be aware that according to our policy Wikipedia should not be used for promotional purposes. Which brings me to my last point. Adding long lists of unreferenced "items" to an article, unless there is a clear indication of why all the individual elements are desirable to have included in the article, is a practise that is strongly discouraged in Wikipedia. The first thing that should be cleaned up here, in my opinion, is the issue of potential copyright infringement. cheers Deconstructhis (talk) 01:37, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shameful Treatment of Employees Section completely does not confer with Wikipedia neutrality guidelines[edit]

This section {Shameful Treatment of Employees} violates Wikipedia rules of neutrality and the writer's of this section opinion and 'personal feeling' can be completely felt through it, it is also poorly written, needs clean up.

also section with the name 'IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING SPACE TOON KIDS MEDIA' does not belong on wikipedia as it appears to be a message to the public from the mentioned individual in the message not information about this institution, it could be made into legitimate information but needs to be edited and adjusted accordingly.--Med12 (talk) 00:50, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree with you. It has been a long-term issue as this part of the article was removed several times but kept being added again by the same user, who does not come to the talk page to explain why or try to improve this section before adding it again. I don't want this to become an edit war, as I already reverted these edits twice today. Since the edits come from an IP user, I might try to make a request for page protection next time. Probably not, you should check the Arabic Wikipedia. Syria is the location of their dubbing partner, Venus Centre. I'd be very surprised if they actually have offices there. "TV"[edit]

Is it really called "Spacetoon TV?" Isn't it just "Spacetoon?" I've seen "TV" put onto the end of TV channel names before, even if the channel does not put TV at the end of their name. I really question this one as almost every other place I've seen the word Spacetoon does not add "TV" to the end of it's name.
