Recorded?

OttomanJackson (talk) 00:51, 11 April 2010 (UTC) Can someone confirm when this was recorded? I found these images they are real. Please check it youselves and get back to me!! OttomanJackson (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:02, 16 April 2010 (UTC).

Yes, they are real, but they are the property of an unnamed individual who has photographed the album. It is not just the cover on its own. A cover should not show any packaging or wrapping. See this as an example. Also, the person who's copyright the photographs belong to is not cited by Discogs, who have merely lifted it off of Google Images. These images should not be restored, as they are, therefore, a potential copyright violation. Pyrrhus16 22:09, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Speechless single Image

It looks like a real image to me, as do the other two that were on the page at some point, and yet they are continually being deleted. According to the image page, it is being used correctly and doesn't violate any rules of copyright. Can someone please explain why these images cannot be used? SilverserenC 22:10, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes, see above. Pyrrhus16 22:44, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Then the images themselves should be tagged with copyright violation. SilverserenC 23:01, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Because, if it is determined that they are not a copyright violation, then they can be used in this article. SilverserenC 23:01, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
how about this?, --Eduardofoxx13 (talk) 19:03, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, that's certainly better than the other one, as you can see the cover edge in the other one. SilverserenC 19:06, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

I added the better image please leave it !!!OttomanJackson (talk) 19:15, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

Speechless single image...

So that proves that it's real? SilverserenC 17:11, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

My removals of content

An explanation was requested for my recent removal of content. Though one can clearly see my reasons for removal in the edit summaries ([1] and [2]), I'll expand upon them even more.

  • "The track received mixed reviews from contemporary music critics." - Which sources says this? Are you basing it off of the single piece of critical commentary in the article? Yes. Therefore, you cannot make such a claim until a number of reviews are added.
  • "Due to the song being released as a promotional single, it was not eligible to chart on any music chart worldwide." - What source do you have to say that promotional singles cannot chart? More original research? Yes, so it is best to leave such comments out.
  • "The dancehall band Ghost covered the song in 2002, and it appears on the albums of that year Strictly the Best, Vol 30 and Under the Moonlight." - Ghost do not have a Wikipedia page and are not notable. Tell me, if I get my non-notable aunt Sue with the hairy mustache to record the song, and then get one reliable source to confirm this, would she be allowed to be included on the page? What about my uncle Hector with the glass eye? I know for sure he's recorded the song. If I get The Courier to reveal this, would he get included? He would oh-so-love it, but he's non-notable, so should not be included.
  • "It is the third most popular song from Invincible in the iTunes store." Says who? One of you? Not good enough. And so what if it is the third most popular song from Invincible on Itunes? What makes that important information?
  • "Total Length - 6:46" - This is not done on any respectable song article, and is even more original research and synthesis. Who is to say that there was not a third track, but one of silence that lasted for 2 seconds?

It is clear that those with no apparent understanding of WP:NSONGS may have this article kept. However, if it is, then be assured that this article will be made into a half-decent one. I'll be retired from this project before I let the article turn into a pile of shite. Pyrrhus16 01:49, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Why would any respectable CD include 2 seconds of silence???!!!OttomanJackson (talk) 01:13, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
Hidden tracks are common, and some are of silence. Pyrrhus16 17:08, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Why would somebody include 2 seconds of silence on Speechless. And unless you have the promotional single, you can not prove it.

Promo Single

Does anybody have this single. If so you can check for a hidden track. If you have it the please check for a hidden track and write your answer below. —Preceding unsigned comment added by OttomanJackson (talkcontribs)

Very, very few people will have a copy, as it is a promotional recording handed out to only a handful of individuals. Even if there is no hidden track, the total length should not be in track listing of the article as it is not done on any respectable song article. Pyrrhus16 21:38, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
