Issue #1 flashback[edit]

My interpretation of the page where Spider-Man kills a Reign officer is that it is a flashback to his last days of Spider-Man. As the cover and silence/absence of Mary Jayne suggests, this may be a flashback of Spider-Man avenging his wife's murder. It is not simply him "imaging" himself as stronger.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rrmonroe (talkcontribs).

Okay, if that's how you feel, edit it that way. I just corrected the Godawful spelling mistakes from the last guy to do this.

Can you confirm whether the Scorpion and/or Venom are on the Sinister Six or not, or even appearing? Solicitations for next Issue (see Marvel.com) seem to show a guy wit a green mask and goggles, but it could be anyone. SaliereTheFish 18:17, 7 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy / nudity[edit]

As noted here (among other places), it seems that Issue #1 is now returnable due to nudity, attracting a certain amount of controversy. Looks like this warrants a mention in the article - anyone aware of the official Marvel statement on the subject? It'd be good to cite that as a source. --Mrph 23:25, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Now added, but could still use a better source to cite. --Mrph 18:50, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What's been the fan/critical response to "Reign"? Is it celebrated, or condemned? Is it having "Dark Knight"-ish impact? Or is it simply, "The Dark Knight Redundant"? -JJP

Definitely something not right with this section... not at all wikipedia standard. Also sort of icky. FreemDeem (talk) 00:23, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot[edit]

As per WP:FICTION, we shouldn't have/need every detail of the plot listed here. Anyone able to help edit the current summary down to something a little more concise? I don't have the comic to hand, so I'm not too comfortable doing it myself. Thanks! --Mrph 23:54, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How about a frackin spoiler alert at least? You give the whole comic away, almost page by page. I'd edit it myself but I don't want to be attacked by another wiki-nazi. Zanduar 06:10, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Naw I like it as it is.

This page would definitely benefit from a more vague synopsis - and, as said, a spoiler alert, as well as less colloquial terms. The current version seems to be telling the story, rather than summarizing it. Geckoneves7 06:27, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Zanduar, Wikipedia doesn't use spoiler tags any more. They were done away with earlier this year.Konczewski 20:33, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Knight[edit]

There seem to be lots of comparisons going on, which is fair enough. Might be worth including some quotes and rewording the intro to make it clear that this is something commented on elsewhere, not an original comment from the Wikipedia article authors? --Mrph 23:54, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Old wrinkly, handcuffed dude[edit]

I think he's supposed to be Wilson Fisk / The Kingpin, since for one he clearly appears to be a very fat (or at least very large if you buy into the whole mountain of muscle thing), bald man. I just wanted to mention it rather than go in and change it outright. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.156.53.122 (talk) 19:55, 17 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Spider-Man---Reign-01.jpg[edit]

Image:Spider-Man---Reign-01.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 22:15, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Little Cement Girl[edit]

While Sandman does call her this, its not her official name. I know she's never given one, but could something more neutral like "Sandman's daughter", "Little girl", or something similar be used instead?--CyberGhostface (talk) 17:34, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why, using something that refers to what's said in the comic book is a much better idea. 'Little girl' is too vague ,and is it established she's his daughter? Tyciol (talk) 00:19, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's established that she's his daugher.--CyberGhostface (talk) 00:55, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edward and Venom[edit]

Edward Saks makes mentions of 'Eddie'. I take this to be Eddie Brock, but I was wondering if Edward Saks and Eddie Brock are the same person or not? Ggctuk (talk) 11:11, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're kidding, right?[edit]

In the Plot section, we have the line "The body digs up Mary Jane's body, and Peter recalls how he killed her with his radioactive sperm." I suspect there are two errors here, one intentional and one unintentional, but not having read the series, somebody else should take a stab at fixing it.
