Spiral Dynamics is a psychological model developed by Prof Clare Graves.

Don Beck is one of his students who has followed the work.

Wikipedia used to have a page that overviewed the Spiral Dynamics model.

To have a search for Spiral Dynamics just direct to a page about a person, just lowers the quality of wikipedia as lots of other free resources explain Spiral Dynamics with just a google search. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.47.161.37 (talk) 02:48, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I will be splitting a Spiral Dynamics page out of the page for Don Edward Beck per the discussion at Talk:Don Edward Beck#Spiral Dynamics. I have reviewed Natasha Todorovic's claims in her letter quoted in the deletion discussion. I had already noted most of the claims about Beck that are unsubstantiated and am in the process of removing them as a clean-up in both this page and in Beck's page. In a few cases, I have been able to find reputable references, so those will be updated and kept.
Other aspects of Todorovic's claims have to do with the distinction between Spiral Dynamics and Graves's original work. The plan at the talk page linked above includes sorting out those differences across a set of wikipedia pages to keep things distinct. As for the disagreements over "Spiral Dynamics" as a term, I am citing the trademark documentation, and will note in terms as neutral as possible the distinctions between "Spiral Dynamics" (the trademark), "Spiral Dynamics Integral", "Integral theory", and the generic usage of the term "Spiral Dynamics." While I respect Todorovic's expertise, book titles such as Spiral Dynamics in Action demonstrate that others can and do use "Spiral Dynamics" (as opposed to "Spiral Dynamics Integral" outside of her business.
I have located a range of secondary sources to ensure that the new page is substantially sourced to work by people other than Beck, Cowan, Todorovic, and/or Wilber.
