Coordinate error[edit]

The following coordinate fixes are needed for The Spirit River originates WEST of the town of Spirit River, not to the southeast. I have walked the river bottom many times! The coordinates 55.696551,-119.074144 for the junction of two tributaries (taken from Google Maps) would be reasonable. Harveybrown51 (talk) 23:36, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Declined — Your correction in the text of the article from southeast to southwest appears to be correct from the topographical map available through Acme Mapper, but the coordinates appear to be correct for the origin and mouth. The topographical map shows the southern tributary to be the primary stream and the tributary that comes in at the coordinates you give above to be a secondary stream (by having the label "Spirit River" upstream from that point of confluence).
