There are over one billion squatters worldwide and the phenomenon is under-represented on Wikipedia. Join Wikipedia:WikiProject_Squatting to help write articles about squatting in every country, or drop a message on the talkpage about something else you'd like to see covered. This is just one of many ways to counter systemic bias on Wikipedia! Mujinga (talk) 15:19, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

Preparing for second GA review

I've taken the opportunity to do another sweep of the sources and I have added a few extra details. I remain confident that this is a decent english-language summary of the sources on squatting in Albania. The previous GA review failed the article on issue of scope/broadness, so I will answer that here:

  • The scope of this article does not do justice to this important, and humanitarian, topic. As is described in the essay Wikipedia:Out of scope, the scope of a Wikipedia article is determined by the supporting citations. Citations 1 and 3 are vital to this article.
    • Citations 1 and 3, now 1 and 4, are used eight and five times respectively. I've added a bit more from them.

These citations have much broader scope than does this article in its current form. Examples of expanded scope suggested by the citations include (but are not limited to):

  • Why was the decollectivism process chaotic after the fall of communism in Albania?
    • As I previously replied, I think the answer to that question is better found in Fall of communism in Albania but I don't think this article should be folded into it since it covers a distinct, ongoing topic.
  • What were the roles of local and central governments? What were the roles of NGOs and the international community? Comparisons to other former Eastern Bloc nations and the Soviet Republics themselves?
    • This seems way beyond the scope of this article to answer. I have added the Albania topics navbox and some more in-text links to other articles about Albania
  • What about the resourcefulness of the Albanian people?
    • I'm not sure what exactly could be added on that point. Mujinga (talk) 13:43, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
