Franchises section[edit]

SocietyBox I don't understand why you come to my talk page and give me an edit warring tag when I have neither edit warred nor have made unconstructive edits. The last edit I made was the first I made in weeks to this article so please show me Wikipedia guideline or rules that I am breaking. Also I have clearly written a summary of the reason for my edit, however each time you have reverted [1], [2], [3] all you have done is stated that you have reverted or restructured, but not why you have, and yet you still come to my talk page before even considering discussing it in this talk page. So I think your lack of an edit summary was a valid enough reason to allow me to undo your edit. You site aesthetics is not a priority. Could you please tell me why not and where it says that on Wikipedia? My edits dont disrupt the article as well as being aesthetically pleasing, so what is the issue you have here?

Just for those who don't know SocietyBox's edits leave a large white space in the middle of the article, while that can be fixed with my edit that has been reverted by him.

Thanks, I will be waiting for your reply.--Blackknight12 (talk) 04:11, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit was a full revert of the Franchises section from two weeks ago and undid constructive edits during this time. Your single stated reason was the section having a "large gap". Wikipedia:Don't throw out the baby with the bath water. By aesthetics not being a priority, I meant not being a priority over content (i.e. the constructive edits between the two-week period). Could you please tell me exactly which constructive edits I undid? I reverted the whole thing because not only did it look untidy, with the large white gap, but you also removed sourced information. My edits did not affect content in any way, in fact I have been gradually improving it myself. The link you added yourself, Help:Whitespace, says that sometimes you have to reorganize things to fix this problem, hence my edit is fully backed by wiki guidelines. So I am still not sure what your issue is here????
In future I would appreciate it if you would not accuse me of anything I have not done. Eg. edit warring.--Blackknight12 (talk) 10:06, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
WP:EDITWAR is defined as repeatedly overriding each other's contributions, rather than trying to resolve the disagreement by discussion. You, again, reverted the article before this discussion has been settled. You seem attached to a certain version of the article (see also: WP:OWN, WP:WIN) despite your version having poor structure, with text above and below the table, and poor readability with repeated and unsourced content.
