It is a little difficult to know how to respond since there is no indication of what the objection is.

The basic list is explained in the References:

  • Definitive information is in Nomination of the St. Anthony Falls Historic District to be on the National Register of Historic Places: 1971, 1991, the application from the City of Minneapolis to the National Park Service to place the St. Anthony Falls Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places (it was placed there). Consists of the original 1971 application (some pages in the wrong order) and a much longer 1991 addition. It has extensive descriptions of "contributing resources" above, and sections on the significance of the district.
Almost all the information in this article comes from this source [emphasis added].

That is the source of all the entries on the list.

Some entries in an older wiki article were removed because they are not in that definitive list.

"Extant" and "Razed" come from information in the same source.

Most of the further categorization also comes from the same source:

List of contributing properties in the St. Anthony Falls Historic DistrictSt. Anthony Falls Historic District
(The St. Anthony Falls Historic District is listed on the NRHP)

St. Anthony Falls Historic District and Saint Anthony Falls Historic District now redirect to Saint Anthony Falls. IMHO this is not appropriate because Saint Anthony Falls is one of about 100 contributing resources to the District and many of the contributing resources have nothing to do with the falls (like the Post Office and houses on Nicollet Island). And Saint Anthony Falls has general history but almost nothing about the Historic District and does not list its contributing resources.

This article is about the Historic District. It has the history of the NRHP designation and a list of all the contributing resources in the district with links to articles where they exist and information about some of the properties.

Proposal is to:

I plan to

  • add a redirect from List of contributing properties in the St. Anthony Falls Historic District to St. Anthony Falls Historic District
  • clean up links in Wikipedia to St. Anthony Falls Historic District and Saint Anthony Falls Historic District
  • clean up links in Wikipedia to List of contributing properties in the St. Anthony Falls Historic District
  • remove "historic district" from the Saint Anthony Falls info box (it is still a Historic District Contributing Property) BudKey (talk) 14:49, 17 October 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. BegbertBiggs (talk) 18:29, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
