Warrants an article?[edit]

Ehrenkater - I understand your comment, and agreed initially, but it was discussed Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Wales/Archive_2020#Missing_communities last year and the consensus seemed to be that all communities (well, most) warranted an article. I have been digging, and there is more that can be added to this article, so will do that asap. Cheers, T. Tony Holkham (Talk) 14:22, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is more material in the "St Davids" article which describes the local government area rather than the immediate area of the cathedral, such as a list of outlying settlements. This definitely belongs in the "other" article,if there are to be two articles. ---Ehrenkater (talk) 14:35, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

At the end of the day it will be an arbitrary decision what text is included in which of the two articles, and the interested user will need to read both articles -- which is unnecessary.---Ehrenkater (talk) 14:42, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes this is about the community named "St Davids and the Cathedral Close" which includes other places while "St Davids" is about the settlement its self. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:59, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
