Grading[edit]

There is a conflict in the evidence regarding whether the church is graded I or II. The websites relating to English Heritage say Grade II, but all the others, including the Churches Conservation Trust, in which the church is vested, say Grade I. The splendid architecture of the church, together with its fine memorials and hatchments, would IMO (for what its worth) justify Grade I. And the Trust rarely takes on any church grading below II*. So on the balance of opinion, I have accepted this as a Grade I listed building.--Peter I. Vardy (talk) 10:31, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
