Needs to be completely rewritten due to spelling/grammar/capitalization issues, POV, a simple lack of information, and so on. Also, the article should be retitled Stacey Kent. I've tagged it. The Trashman 04:11, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Birthdate[edit]

Kent was not born in 1968. If that were the case she'd have been 16 years old when she started at Sarah Lawrence College. And that is not the case. Please stop posting her birth date as 1968. All Music lists her as being born in 1965: http://www.allmusic.com/artist/stacey-kent-mn0000160742. To add to this: If she was born in 1968 she would have been in my class at Newark Academy (that article gives the 1965 date). She wasn't ... I am pretty sure I remember her in the 1983 yearbook, and I was not personally acquainted with her (her younger brother Wayne, a year ahead of me, I do remember quite well).
