Talk:Stamping (custom)

I am, to my knowledge, the sole editor of this page. I've been searching high and low for ways to link it to other pages. I don't want to shoe-horn it into another page that's only tangentially related. This topic is fairly regionally specific and even then it is a custom that is rather uncommon, at least from my anecdotal experience, in the regions in which it is still known. It's widely documented and seems to have been much more common in the past, at least judging by the age of the sources I could find. One of the most common practices I can find talked about online is stamping the first robin one sees in the springtime. However, I cannot find any reliable sources discussing this practice. It seems a little pedantic to me to require a scholarly source discussing common folk practices rather than allowing the fact that common folks themselves are discussing it to speak for itself, however, I also understand that the standards for references are generalized and necessarily rigorous. If anybody has any other knowledge, even something small such as "Growing up we'd do this but we called it [blank]," it could be helpful in finding other sources. Thanks.
