An appereance[edit]

I wonder if it's worth noting that the Monster makes a cameo in Guy Gardner Warrior #29. It doesn't seem to fit into continuity and all, but considering how it's now canon the monster is a big pile of supernatural, who knows?

Hm. Forgot my pasword. Anyway, there is another appearance of Stanley and the Monster before Infinity Crisis, in a DC or maybe Vertigo crossover of their supernatural characters, around 2004 or 2006. It was a miniseries where they played an important role, and the Monster's origin was further explained as being one of the Lovecraftian Elder Gods who had been stripped of its evil in a battle eons ago. I can't remember the title, I just remember that in the end, M'nagalah was absorbed into Dr. Occult's body; maybe checking M'nagalah's or Dr. Occult's lists of appearances somewhere will give away the title of the series. -Luis Abbadie —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.192.216.103 (talk) 19:41, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Quiver question[edit]

In GA Quiver... when Stanley appears the first time, the giant bottle is halfway in the ground. The first time, you see ol' Stanley talking about things being like they used to, about a boy and his dog and having to eat the blood, with a monstro tongue curling around a blood packet. The second time, they talk about the creature thinking of better days. Both of these seemed pretty inconsistent to Stanley being dressed as a psuedo monster, in a bottle ABOVE the ground (as opposed to halfway previously). Did Kevin Smith drop some kind of huge ball and want to make old man Stan the little boy and then change his mind or something? It is kinna odd the grandkid is named Stan also, considering how much of a brat the daughter is towards her father, leaving him there alla time.
