Olympia Milk Bar[edit]

Someone needs to add this as a notable commercial property, untouched since work orders were processed by local council in 1939, not a thing has changed with the place. Urban legends surround it and it's owner who refuses to answer any questions and just wants to be left alone, which has fuelled the cult status of the place. It used to be next to the cinema's that was knocked down in the early 00's. There are numerous copyleft and fair use photos out there of it, and to be brutally honest, personally speaking it is the only notable element of Stanmore / the only reason I know the suburb exists, because of the Olympia, so it would be probable other Aussie's consider it the most notable building there too. If it wasn't for the Olympia you'd drive straight through Stanmore and have never even noticed you drove through it! 121.211.33.244 (talk) 10:33, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
