Involvement[edit]

Financial Times reported that StarTimes was somehow involved in PRC's so-called debt-trap diplomacy, which resulted, for example, Zambia's ZNBC increasing monthly TV levy. I believe it should be noted.

Also, while Access to Satellite TV for 10,000 African Villages might be an interesting project, does it deserve its own article yet? I think it can be simply noted in this article and Africa–China relations for now.

And finally, I believe it's time to check if certain editor is somehow related to the Chinese company. JSH-alive/^{talk/cont/mail} 18:35, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose the merge given that there is evidence (I added a 2019 update in the lede) that the project is being delivered. It seems to have been widely covered at the time of the announcement, and there is more that could be added; so, it seems to pass independent notability.
