guard

how is it legal for a private guard to enforce anything on a public road? i'm assuming people just think they have to stop, and do, but the guard couldn't do a thing if you just drove/walked by. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.162.151.98 (talk) 06:15, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

The guard's there for intimidation. Most people see the guard gate and turn around. I've driven on Star Island several times, and just wave to the guard as I go past. - Marc Averette (talk) 16:15, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Will Smith
