New Shorts filming[edit]

Two weeks of filming is scheduled this month for new project named "Chaos Theory" (as opposed to "Green Harvest Season 3" for the next Discovery season). Some industry papers call this "Star Trek Shorts". See [1] and [2]. Presumably that's in addition to the two animated episodes. All very interesting, but nothing here one could reference or mention by itself in an article. Has anyone seen a reference that wouldn't be speculative or original research? Short Treks.[edit]

Surely the phrase "Short Treks" is an oxymoron?PC 5002 (talk) 22:06, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe it is meant to be a joke? - adamstom97 (talk) 22:17, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This series is a collection of short stories set in the Trek universe, so Short Treks is a clever name for them. --Frmorrison (talk) 04:35, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Spoilers[edit]

I am of the view that nothing is gained by giving away the surprise ending of a story in a plot summary. Another writer is of the opinion that failing to give away surprise endings is censorship. I would like others to weigh in. Rick Norwood (talk) 10:44, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The wiki policy is here WP:SPOILER and it states explicitly that "It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot." Barry Wom (talk) 11:02, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

the production chose not to begin work on any new shorts[edit]

It seems to me that "the production" is not an individual or group of individuals and therefore cannot "choose". I would be interested in knowing which person, or which group of people, chose not to begin work on any new shorts. Rick Norwood (talk) 19:52, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well "the production" actually is a "group of individuals", but I have adjusted the wording to hopefully clear this up. - adamstom97 (talk) 21:10, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Producers" is better. Rick Norwood (talk) 11:44, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
