"Formerly Starbar"?[edit]

My local shop (in the UK) had a whole heap of Starbars in stock the other day, whose labels said they were made in Ireland. There seems no sign at the moment that they're going to be rebranded "Moro Peanut". Is this about to change? Loganberry (Talk) 06:52, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Those were old stock, the rebranding occurred in the middle of the year. The bars you saw in a store were manufactured/packed before the rebranding and probably held in storage. Cliph 16:08, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting; I wonder when the change will come in the UK? I've been keeping a vague eye out while doing Christmas shopping over the last few weeks, and only one shop had Moros; every other one had only Starbars. Loganberry (Talk) 01:03, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Little update on this: I have not seen Moro anywhere in the UK except for the one shop I mentioned; if Starbar is going to change in the UK, it certainly hasn't done so yet. Loganberry (Talk) 12:09, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Starbar or Star Bar?[edit]

Okay, I've made the move. I did try contacting Cadbury, but they didn't answer, so the sensible thing to do seems to be to go for what's on the Cadbury website. There's a redirect from Starbar, so it shouldn't matter too much. Loganberry (Talk) 01:44, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. Just spotted this: "Nunch was later rebranded as Nudge and in the 1980s it briefly became "peanut Boost," only to return to Star Bar as popularity of the Boost bar waned."

But when did this become Star Bar? It started as Nunch, then became Nudge. Did it become Star Bar after that,then Peanut Boot, then back to Star Bar. Or Did it go Nunch, Nudge, Peanut Boost, then Star Bar? In which case it didn't "return" to Star Bar. I'll have a look. Zestos (talk) 18:00, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, since my memory reaches back only to the "Peanut Boost era". I think it was the first of your two options, but maybe the whole sentence should be changed to mention only those names we have proper sources for, as opposed to people on message boards! Wunderbar[edit]

I would like to insert a wunderbar image in this article but I don't know how and also I think it needs to be approved for the copyright rules and all, so someone please help me with this.

Removed the image request tag, first because I question the need for another image of the candy for the article which already has more than one image, even if it is sold under another name and, second, the exemplar image page no longer points to the candy, but to a webpage about beer. 5 Star[edit]

What's this doing in the article? One of the defining characteristics of a Star Bar is the roasted peanuts - from what I can tell the 5 Star has none. Weasley one (talk) 13:22, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
