Copyright status of statue[edit]

@Another Believer: Any idea on the copyright status of the statue, or who would know? I've got a couple of photos of it I could make available on Commons if they are OK, and I guess if not I could upload one on en-wiki on a non-free basis. Please ping me if you respond, I don't currently scan my en-wiki watchlist. - Jmabel | Talk 18:28, 18 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A fine article. I wiish every city had this sort of coverage. Carptrash (talk) 17:38, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Tense[edit]

Following recent vandalism, this article's text was changed to past tense throughout. Sure, we should say the statue was installed, but the statue still exists somewhere. I'm not sure the entire article should use past tense. @Randy Kryn: Agreed? ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:58, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds right, because until the statue's owners or government authorities say that the statue will be permanently removed and not re-erected present tense still applies. Randy Kryn (talk) 19:57, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
