A fact from Stavanger Airport, Forus appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 16 October 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Forus Airport, built as a military air base by the Luftwaffe at the site of a former lake, is currently the site of an industrial park?
According to the discussion on the Norwegian version talk page, the runway was probably about 2000 meters.
