How to solve the review problems?[edit]

I have been working on a page for British conchologist Stella Turk https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stella_Turk Having received the following feedback I have sought to improve the article. And seek help via the talk page.

I have already completed an edit on the citations and the article was never an orphan, perhaps I could get more pages linked to Stella's. See Frank Turk (biologist) and Stamford Raffles Award. Also there is a discussion post at Talk:Cornwall Wildlife Trust — Preceding unsigned comment added by Craig.chamberlain11 (talkcontribs) 11:21, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am also probably not qualified to properly defend Stella's notability. She is certainly held in very high regard in Cornwall. How can this be contested.Craig.chamberlain11 (talk) 10:26, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I made some links to this article in other related articles, so that one problem is now solved. Now to try to tackle the other objections. Invertzoo (talk) 14:26, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not an academic[edit]

I wanted to explain here on the talk page that Stella Turk is and was a working scientist, researcher, and conservationist, but she cannot be characterized as an academic, therefore her biography article does not need to meet the standards for articles about academics. I have removed that tag. As far as I know she never held an academic position at a university, and in any case that is not what her notability is based on.
