Recognition for being stylish - is it encyclopedic?[edit]

The Boston Globe recognition of Kaplan in its list of "25 Most Stylish Bostonians of 2010" seems rather trivial, should it stay? I think not, but would like to hear some other opinions. --CliffC (talk)

  • I think not. I'm not sure of the "being cool" recognition either. Personally, I wish the SPA creating these articles would read, review, and come to an understanding of the policies and guidelines for writing articles on Wikipedia. It gets tiring cleaning up her work because she can't take the time to learn or communicate with others. This is a collaborative project and they refuse to collaborate. Ugh. • For the sake of completeness, what about for being Amazing? --CliffC (talk) 23:49, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • Honestly, I don't remember what is said in that particular article. Being amazing is rather subjective, as is being cool or stylish. But I think this is a fault of the magazine editors approving an article and providing a title that easily attracts "voyeuristic" readers at the expense of serious journalism. I think we need to review the magazine articles and the WP article content based on the magazine content. Does that make sense? Somehow, I think I'm going around in circles. Propose merging with Her Campus article[edit]

I propose that this page and the pages of the other founders be merged into the page for Her Campus as the founds are not notable individually and have shared their awards and recognition as part of their work on Her Campus. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.30.116.234 (talk) 21:22, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
