Cool![edit]

I heard about this guy's X-Prize donations, but when I lookd him up here, found out all about his other stuff. Not only that, but a Doctorate, and an officer of the order of Canada? I think I've got some kinda new role model or something here :) Geology isn't really a passion for me now, but hey, wealth is wealth, and he's sending it where it's needed. Turning gold (or diamonds, abandoning the metaphor) into life, good stuff. Anyone know his mail so I can send thanks? Tyciol 13:52, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reclusive[edit]

There are two books, [http://www.amazon.com/Barren-Lands-Search-Diamonds-American/dp/0716740265 Barren Lands: An Epic Search for Diamonds in the North American Arctic] by Kevin Krajick and Diamonds: A Journey to the Heart of an Obsession by Matthew Hart that probably provide more details on his life. I tried researching him on the Internet and couldn't find out much about him personally. In particular his exact birthdate, number of children, where he grew up and where he currently resides. If you get the book, please add any details. MRoberts <> 16:27, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
