Is song the second or the third single off of Revolution Radio album?[edit]

I recently corrected the article from saying "Still Breathing" is the second single released from the Revolution Radio album, because that is what the sources in the article say and that's consistent with the article on the album. However, two editors have tried to change it back to "third", but without giving any explanation or providing sources that contradict what's there. We should establish which it is, though, if this is a matter of a reasonable difference of opinion. Dhtwiki (talk) 04:01, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Answer: The title track was the 2nd track released before the release of the album while Still Breathing was the 3rd track released (released alongside their lyric videos). But the tracks weren't released as singles for the album (along with music videos for the two singles) until after the album release. Still Breathing was released as their 2nd official single along with the video in November while Revolution Radio was their 3rd single in May 2017 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.76.227.59 (talk) 16:26, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

  • "January 15 – July 24, 2016" → source plus add to the article.
  • "Pop punk alternative rock" → should be in the body of the article

Lead[edit]

  • Very small lead.
  • who wrote and produced the song, release dates, add more detail regarding the official video (resume of plot, director of the video and so on), some background of the song.
  • Needs serious work this section.

Background and composition[edit]

  • "Armstrong wrote became "Bang Bang"," → Armstrong wrote was "Bang Bang",
  • "than "Bang Bang"" → than the lead single
  • Use {{spaced ndash}}

Release[edit]

  • was released as the second single from Revolution Radio on November 12, 2016 → where?
  • The source says "Still Breathing" debuts on the Nov. 12 Mainstream Rock Songs" → release and debut are two very different things.
  • Discogs is not a reliable source. But I get that you intended the back cover use "CiteAV Media" to quote that stuff or use a side note.
  • Remove the Billie Joe Armstrong picture, its not from the video or anything like that.

Music video[edit]

  • This shouldn't be under the release section.
  • and feel content → use something else this sounds awful.
  • Sources should be in an ascent order. Example: 8, 12, 18

Reception[edit]

  • If you could add more two or three reviews wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
  • Link Music Critics to music journalism.

Chart performance[edit]

  • "The song also charted in Belgium (Ultratip Flanders), Czech Republic (Rádio Top 100 Oficiální), and Slovakia (Rádio Top 100 Oficiální)." → add the respective peaks.
  • Use {{spaced ndash}}.

Track listing[edit]

  • Missing sources.
  • "All lyrics written by Billie Joe Armstrong;" → not according to the infobox

Charts[edit]

  • Fine

References[edit]

  • This section is a huge problem in here.
  • First. Only link once when it first appears, for example, the first time that appears Rolling Stone you link it.
  • Some works are under publisher and the other way around, you can have both, however, GA's can have only work from the sources. Example given: Billboard
  • Missing authors in several articles.

External links[edit]

  • Fine

Overall GA review[edit]

  • Why there isn't a release history section with the process on top of it?
  • Missing a personnel section with credits.
  • No Live performances?
  • This article needs some serious work and after addressing all these issues I will give it another review. It seems a bit rushed from your part. On hold for seven days for the first batch of changes. Good luck, anything ping me. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 21:42, 4 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Yash!: are you up for this? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:45, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Songwriting credits[edit]

The songwriting credits in this article do not match those given for the song at Revolution Radio or Greatest Hits: God's Favorite Band. Xfansd (talk) 22:28, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
